HEALTH CAREERS PREP COURSE
ARE YOU READY TO EXCEL AS A HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL?
Vernon Regional Adult Basic Education’s Exploration of Healthcare Careers is designed to assist you in meeting the academic expectations of the Connecticut Community College’s health care curriculum and career pathway. Together, we will map out the required community college courses and pre-requisites, explore and research your career goals, refresh and practice a variety of academic skills, introduce you to test taking strategies, and complete an on-line science course!
This intensive evening course meets for 6 hours per week. In addition to the weekly in-class assignments and homework, students will complete an on-line science course and an individual career and educational plan.
Applications for January, 2010, session are now being accepted.
Applicants must have a high school diploma*, an adult high school diploma, or a GED, or EDP.
