Phoenix Expulsion Program

This individualized program is for those 16 years of age and older who have been expelled from high schools within our nineteen town region. The program allows students to continue their progress toward a high school diploma.

Participants must withdraw from their high school and bring the letter of withdrawal signed by a parent along with an official transcript to the Phoenix program.  Upon completion of the expulsion period, the student may reenter their high school or register in the Regional Adult Credit Diploma evening program.

Transportation is the responsibility of the individuals, although some school districts within the region may provide transportation.

Classes are held at VRABE/Manchester One Stop at 893 Main Street. Students are required to be in class from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and classes begin September 14, 2009. Classes are held Monday through Wednesday.

Students who do not cooperate or follow the rules set down by Vernon Regional Adult Basic Education may be asked to leave the program.

For additional information contact Program Coordinator Melissa Adduci at (860) 870-6060 ext 16 or email.
