English as a Second Language instruction is designed for those adults who have limited proficiency in the English language. Instructional emphasis is on listening and speaking, but reading and writing are also introduced at this level.
Pretests are given at the time of enrollment to determine appropriate levels of ESL instruction. Periodic pre/post testing enables students to move to higher levels as instruction and proficiency progresses.
For more information, please contact Regional Facilitator, Dr. Claudia Nunn, at (860) 870-6060 (860) 870-6060 ext. 14 or email
