English as a Second Language (ESL) for Construction Workers with OSHA-10 Certification
This 12-week program is geared to individuals who work, or would like to work, in construction or related areas. Participants develop English language skills in addition to knowledge of construction concepts, job-site safety practices and regulations, and work-related communication skills. Some areas of focus for the course include construction vocabulary, safe use of tools and machinery, green building methods, career pathways in the construction field, teamwork and problem solving. Participants who successfully complete the program receive OSHA-10 certification.
