The Credit Diploma Program offers students an avenue to successfully complete the State of Connecticut's requirements for high school completion. Academic classes are structured to meet the graduation requirements of the participating school districts and the needs of the students. In addition to granting credit for classroom courses, students may be awarded credits for a variety of life experiences. A Vernon Regional Adult High School Diploma is granted upon completion of the program.
Senior Project
As a local regional educational governing body, Vernon Regional Adult Basic Education is committed to preparing its graduates with the skills needed to be successful in the marketplace and in a variety of life settings. One of the ways VRABE is addressing these needs is by designing a curriculum to integrate skills that will enhance intellectual growth and maturity with course content. The outcomes are intended to become useful models for students upon graduation.
In alignment with the newly designed curriculum, a Senior Graduation Project Course has been developed as a graduation requirement for all seniors across the region participating in the Adult High School Credit Diploma Program. Handouts and Templates are available for teachers.
