Citizenship

This classroom-based program provides instruction to foreign born adults who wish to become U.S. citizens.  Persons completing this program are prepared to pursue citizenship through the prescribed Immigration and Naturalization Service process.
   
Classes will prepare students for the test given to individuals desiring to become American citizens. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings for six (6) weeks - one session in the fall and one in the spring. Students must be able to read and converse in English well enough to pass a listening appraisal test which is administered the first night of class.

Manchester High School
Tuesdays
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
begins 10/2/07

Spring Classes
Rockville High School
Tuesdays
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
begins 2/26/08

Classes are offered twice a year - in fall Manchester High and in spring Rockville High School.
