Certified Nursing Assistant Training This training program gives you 125 hours of classroom and clinical instruction at Evergreen Health Care Center, one of the premier skilled nursing facilities in North Central CT. Classes are taught by a certified instructor from Vernon Regional Adult Basic Education. All applicants must be a high school graduate (or GED) and over 18 years old.
Classes will be held from 9/10/07 to 10/5/07 daily for 4 weeks at:

Program Requirements In order to participate in the Vernon Regional Adult Basic Education C.N.A. Program at E.H.C.C., selected candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. The course fee including the textbook is $650. Payment must accompany the application. All fees are nonrefundable. 2. Each student must have had a physical examination within the last six months. 3. Urinalysis drug test administered must have a negative result. 4. An appropriate medical uniform is used for the clinical classes. The uniform includes scrubs, white socks, and white sneakers or medical shoes. 5. In order to comply with state guidelines, attendance at all classes is mandatory.
Successful completion of the course and CT C.N.A. testing will give participants a license to work in CT hospitals, assisted living and health care facilities.
